If you are looking for a bike rack that is rated for your motor home, but it also has a way to make it easier to get those bikes on that rack, that's where this one can come in handy. This has a ramp that's not only included with the rack, but is attached to the rack itself. We'll take a look at how this fits and if it is the right fit for you and your bikes. This is going to be an RV or motor home rated bike rack with a lot of weight capacity as well as a lot of features. So we'll take a look at how it fits and if this is the right fit for you. So this is gonna be the two plus one base with the two bike platform trays. It's gonna have a weight capacity of 80 pounds for your bikes, which is very impressive especially with it being behind a motor home. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today I have the Saris MHS two-bike platform rack, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Winnebago Forza motorhome. So the MHS is gonna be great if you need to carry around extra heavy electric bikes, but also bikes of different shapes and sizes. Plus you want something that's easy to use. A lot of the RV rated bike racks have a lot of different levers, and handles, and straps that you have to deal with. This one makes it a lot more simple, but still has that RV capacity. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. Now this is a platform style bike rack capable of holding up to two bikes. It's gonna hold them in these wheel trays with two straps on either wheel at the bottom and our primary method of holding it up top with this frame clamp. Frame contact is gonna mean a couple things. With our carbon frame bikes, we probably will want to avoid using those because it can damage the frame. more

Now with the alternative frame and kids' bikes, you can use them. You'll just need to pick up a bike adaptive bar. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp HD here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. Now the SuperClamp is a bike rack a platform style bike rack, holding the bike in these cradles and primarily by the wheels that's gonna mean zero frame contact making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, good for your e-bikes too. And that's really significant because this is also motor home approved. It's important to get a bike rack that's motor home approved because you have extra shock and vibration back here compared to your typical passenger vehicle. And typically finding a bike rack that's rated for that and e-bikes is a little less common. more

It's gonna be a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these trays and primarily by the frame right here with this frame clamp. It's gonna pivot 360 degrees and slide up and down, allowing it to work with alternative frames. But because it is frame contact, we do wanna avoid our carbon frame bikes. There's a 35 pound weight capacity per bike so make sure you're staying within those limits and you should be all good. more

But with the way this clamp actually rotates 360 degrees, can slide up and down, we do have the freedom to use alternative frame bikes on here worry-free, as opposed to the hook-style of frame contact. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. This is going to be a really solid platform-style bike rack designed for e-bikes. Now, I say platform-style, that means it's being held in these cradles and this one is being held by the frame with this frame hook up here. The frame hook is gonna mean that we probably want to avoid carbon frame bikes 'cause that will damage the frame and alternative frame bikes are probably gonna need a bike adapter bar to make sure this hook gets a good grab and a good hold on the bike. Otherwise though, it's gonna be a really nice setup because right outta the box, it is gonna work with your e-bikes. more

This is a hanging style bike rack, holding the bike by the frame here and secured with these two hook and loop straps. It's gonna keep it fairly secure. One thing to keep in mind with this is that we don't have any third point of contact in the seat post limiting that side to side movement. more

CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome- Video
Hi everyone! Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're checking out the Curt Premium Bike Rack here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome. Now, the Curt Premium is a hanging-style bike rack, which means we've got the bike hanging by the frame. 3 points of contact are gonna be these 2 straps up top, holding it down and into these cradles, and then a third one around the seat post to limit that bike-to-bike contact by limiting that side-to-side movement. It's still obviously gonna be there, but it will limit it and help out quite a bit compared to other bike racks that don't have that third point of contact. You do have a total weight capacity of 180 pounds, and because it's hanging-style, we want to avoid our carbon frame bikes. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Swagman CURRENT 2-Bike Platform Rack, for Electric Bikes here on our 2020, Winnebago View. Now if you're starting getting these long road trips, and you do have an E-bike with you, it is gonna be starting to get harder to find what platform is great to actually start hauling them. Now a Swagman CURRENT is specifically designed to start carrying around those big electric bikes. With a 60 pound capacity, we are gonna be doing a good job of getting these big heavy bikes up on here, with no trouble at all. Couple of caveats though, as you can see today we've gone ahead and removed our battery coupling. Let's make sure we are doing that. more

Now, if you're starting on these rides big long road trips and you are utilizing this RV and you want to carry your bikes with you, you might start running into some issues of weight capacity and limits. Now, these guys are going to be primarily designed to carry these big heavy e-bikes so they are going to be great on these motor homes as they're going to be nice and sturdy and endurable on the back here, even though we are extended from our rear axle, we're going to have no problem at all with these guys hauling our big rigs on the back of the sky. more

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks TRS 2-Bike Platform Rack for electric bikes here on our 2020 Winnebago View. Now, as you guys can see, this is gonna be a good way of getting our big, heavy bikes to where we want to go. As you can see, we do have our big electric bike up on here with a 65-pound capacity rating per bike, then we're not gonna have any issue at all getting most of our standard e-bikes to the trails with us or any other destination. One thing to point out with this, always make sure we are removing that battery coupling on those e-bikes. more

So yes, this is motor home approved, but it can also go on any of your two inch hitch receiver vehicles. You just want to make sure that the hitch is gonna be a class three or higher. With this, It's gonna be a great family rack. We can get five bikes to and fro, it is pretty tight when we're putting these on here. more

Today on our 2019 Winnebago Adventurer, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack. Whenever we go on a trip in our motorhomes, space is going to be limited on the inside. We don't want to take up any more space than we have to by putting bikes inside. We want to leave that space for our pets, friends, or family. And our Thule Camber is going to be a great way to transport that bike, so we can take it with us, and enjoy the outdoors. What's going to make the Thule Camber stand out a little bit, is that it is going to be rated for use on motorhomes. more
